I’m Shamil Isanka – a student of a campus. I’ve seen several UFOs in various times in my living area, Kotte. Last four days I saw some UFOs and this compelled me to know more about it – I just did a google search and found the news on ‘UFO in Kotte’ in the Daily News. I thought to write about my sightings to you: Last Sunday (12th, at about 5.00 p.m.) I was doing my studies at the front open area of our house. The sky was almost clear. I had a look at the moon, near which I saw a bright, white colored, star-like object moving from south east to north west. I think it was not a satellite because it was moving very slowly. I called my mother, brother and sister and they too witnessed it. We observed the object with my binoculars, and could hardly identify it as a circular light source. As it moved, it became smaller; and when it was about in the middle of the sky, it had become almost out of sight. The time was at about 5.20 p.m. Next day at about 6.50 p.m. I was about to leave home for some purpose. I just observed the clear sky hoping to see another UFO! There, I could see a moving object with three lights. It was moving from the middle of the sky to the east. I think it was not a airplane because it made no sound. I watched it until it was hidden by the eastern skyline. I called one of my neighbor friends and told about the sighting. Then we both started observing the sky. At about 7.00 p.m. my friend saw two satellite-like objects, moving parallel, closely to each other, from north west to south east. We both watched their fast movement. Suddenly one disappeared while the other became very bright and then disappeared. After that we couldn’t see anything unusual in the sky, so my friend went home and I went for my purpose. When I returned home my friend told me that he saw the three-light object moving from east to west. After some time I again went to observe the sky. It was a strange sight – the three-light object was moving from south east to north west. I watched it with my binoculars and it seemed to be circular, and in addition to the three lights, there were small lights on this strange object. I called my family members and they also saw it.
Next day (14th, at about 6.00 p.m.) I started to observe the sky. The time was about 6.25 p.m. I looked up at the sky, and to the east side, I saw a bright star-like object. As soon as I started looking at it, its brightness began to decrease; and within about two seconds it completely disappeared. Next I went to my friend and told him about what I saw. He also joined me and both of us started observing the sky. It was about 7.00 p.m. We found a star-like object moving above the eastern skyline from south to north. After about 3 minutes we could see such another object moving from north to south. Quite unbelievable thing was seen by my friend. It was the 15th, at about 6.15 p.m. He was coming home after his class with his father on their motorbike. Their bike was passing a jungle area near Diyawannawa Oya. According to him a three light, hat shaped object coming downwards and sideways onto the jungle area , in a retardation. They stopped and watched it. The big strange object began to hover above the jungle and its upper head part began to emit a bright white light. The object emitted a flash of light. Just after that the whole object disappeared!
I hope to continue observing the sky, and inform about anything unusual I may see.
